Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy

At Inai Foods, we aim to ensure transparency, fairness, and trust in every order placed on our ecommerce platform.

Due to the nature of food products and hygiene regulations, specific policies apply to cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order on inaifoods.com.

1. Order Cancellation

Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  1. Customers may request cancellation only before the order is processed or dispatched.
  2. Once an order has been shipped or is out for delivery, cancellation is not allowed.
  3. Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or phone.

Cancellation Not Allowed In These Cases

  1. Order already dispatched or out for delivery
  2. Perishable or fresh food items already prepared or packed
  3. Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
  4. Repeated failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability

2. Cancellation of Perishable Items

  1. Perishable items include fresh or short shelf-life food products.
  2. Such items cannot be cancelled once preparation or packing has begun.
  3. Any exception is solely at the discretion of Inai Foods.

3. Refund for Cancelled Orders

  1. If cancellation is approved before dispatch, the order amount will be refunded.
  2. Refunds are processed via UPI to the UPI ID provided by the customer.
  3. Refund processing time is typically 3–7 business days after approval.

Refunds are not applicable for:

  1. Orders cancelled after dispatch
  2. Delivery failures caused by incorrect address details

4. Cancellation by Inai Foods

We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following situations:

  1. Product out of stock
  2. Incorrect pricing or technical error
  3. Delivery location outside Tamil Nadu
  4. Payment failure or suspected fraudulent transaction

In such cases, customers will be notified via email or SMS, and refunds will be initiated via UPI.


5. Delivery Refusal

  1. If a customer refuses delivery without a valid reason, no refund may be provided.
  2. Shipping or handling charges in such cases are non-refundable.

6. Returns Policy

Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, returns are subject to strict conditions.

Eligible for Returns (Within 7 Days)

  1. Unused, unopened, and undamaged products
  2. Products in original condition and packaging

Important:

  1. Opened, used, or tampered food products cannot be returned.
  2. Perishable food items are not eligible for return once delivered, unless damaged or spoiled at delivery.

7. When Returns Are Accepted

  1. Wrong item delivered
  2. Product damaged during transit
  3. Expired or near-expiry product received
  4. Defective or leaking packaging
  5. Ordered item not received

  1. Product photos
  2. Order ID
  3. Delivery details

8. How to Request a Return

9. Return Pickup & Refund Method

  1. Approved returns will be picked up from your address.
  2. Pickup service is available only within Tamil Nadu.
  3. Returned items must be securely packed.
  4. Refunds are processed after inspection and approval.
  5. Refunds are issued via UPI within 3–7 business days.

10. Exchange Policy

  1. We do not offer direct exchanges.
  2. Exchanges are allowed only if a wrong or damaged product was delivered.
